The American Hebrew Academy is an international school which serves students from across the United States and around the world. Our campus is a "home away from home" for Jewish teenagers of all backgrounds from 35 countries and growing.
Joining together in one of the most dynamic Jewish learning environments ever created, Academy students grow, explore, and develop as young adults. The Academy prides itself on the diversity of the Jewish student body.
International students can attend the Academy for a minimum of one year up to four years. All international students participate in a full immersion program allowing them to concentrate on improving their English speaking, reading and writing skills as needed, while preparing for admission to U.S. universities. The Academy assists families in obtaining a U.S. student visa once accepted for admission to the Academy. For more information about making the American Hebrew Academy the key to an extraordinary life, check out How to Apply.
International students who wish to attend university outside the United States should contact the college counseling office to discuss the admissions requirements for the particular university to which they wish to apply. Many universities outside of the United States may have admissions requirements that are different from universities located within the U.S.
