The value of learning in a dual curriculum environment is well known and better
prepares our students for careers in which "multi-tasking" is an essential
skill.
Through a carefully chosen sequence of required courses and a variety of
elective academic offerings, students are given a classic liberal arts and
sciences education and a solid foundation for college.
The programs that shape the development of a teenager's Jewish education are
built on the traditional Jewish model of Bet Midrash, learning Jewish text in
pairs or small groups and applying these texts to the issues that face us as
Jews in a contemporary world. The integration of the liberal arts and sciences
and the program of Jewish learning is a unique feature of the Academy's academic
program which includes a period of study in Israel.
