Today, we're a faculty of men and women from around America and across the world. We care about setting high standards in the classroom, continuing to learn ourselves, and creating a warm human climate for our students and each other. It takes a special person to work and live with adolescents. We take pride in teaching well beyond the boundaries of the classroom and the normal schoolroom day. We also take pride in serving as positive role models for our students.
What we value. Many of us are committed Jews, reflecting a spectrum of styles, Jewish identity, belief and practice, but interested applicants need not be Jewish. We value academic depth, cultural breadth, excellent teaching skills, maturity, warmth, moral character, and an open personality in our teachers and staff members. Everyone must identify with the Academy's mission and make a positive contribution to it. Our Integrated Curriculum
the humanities and the arts Our student residences are called houses because students live with Houseparents and AHA Fellows. Students and teachers live and learn in an innovative Jewish environment. Current Opportunities Direct resumes and inquiries to: |
