The American Hebrew Academy Theatre Department Presents: The Laramie Project, a play about the reaction to the 1998 hate crime murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming.   Academy students will draw on over 200 interviews conducted with inhabitants of the town, company members' own journal entries, and published news reports to create a meaningful play that will move and inspire audiences by exploring the heights of compassion of which a community can be capable.  Please mark your calendar for May 2nd and 3rd at 7:30 PM at Temple Emanuel, Jefferson Road.  For more information and to purchase tickets, please contact Karen Dresser at 336/217.7100 or kdresser@aha-net.org.  Tickets may be purchased at the door.  Free to all high school students.
