The American Hebrew Academy Theatre Department Presents: The Laramie Project, a play about the reaction to the 1998 hate crime murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. Academy students will draw on over 200 interviews conducted with inhabitants of the town, company members' own journal entries, and published news reports to create a meaningful play that will move and inspire audiences by exploring the heights of compassion of which a community can be capable. Please mark your calendar for May 2nd and 3rd at 7:30 PM at Temple Emanuel, Jefferson Road.
